Odyssey of the Mind

Jazz Band, Fridays 2:15-3:45

Drama, Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:15-3:30 through November and then starting again in March.

Show Choir is an extra curricular singing group that is an extension to the school's choral program. This gives students who love to sing and dance and really show off those skills the opportunity to perform in often a small ensemble and with a little more glitz. Our goal is to perform at the District IV Jazz Festival in February and hopefully qualify to compete at the State Vocal Jazz Festival in March. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, November 3rd, 3:30-5 in the WJHS auditorium.

Literary Magazine:

The Winslow Junior High Literary Magazine is a published collection of the best student writing at WJHS. We include poetry, short stories, essays, and all creative writing as well as artwork that can be reproduced in black and white. All students may submit entries online at or in our submissions box in the library. All submissions will be considered for this year’s magazine.  If you’re interested in a staff position, contact us at . We meet in the library before school in the fall and after school once the submission deadline has passed (February). Staff will be notified of meetings.
